Grandma Carol
I'm the mother of 3 married children and 12 wonderful grandchildren, with another one on the way.

BANANA BREAD

  2 cups flour
  3/4 cup sugar
  1 Tblsp. baking powder
  1/2 tsp. salt
  1 cup milk
  1 egg
  1/3 cup oil
  2-3 mashed bananas
  1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease loaf pan. Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt into bowl.
Put milk, egg, oil, and bananas into blender and blend well. Pour liquid mixture into dry mixture. Mix batter just until moistened; do not overmix. Pour mixture into loaf pan.
Bake one hour, or until top is golden brown and toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.

A big snowfall blew in, so we made the best of it and went sledding. I was very careful and just went down the little hills, but I’m sure the baby liked it—he was kicking up a storm!
