I have asked several mothers to answer the question, sent in by a reader, about your favorite cheap disposable diaper. These are the responses we have had so far. If you would like to add your two cents, please leave a comment below, or email me by clicking on "contact author", and I will add more responses. The more the merrier! Hi ~ i used to be a devoted huggies buyer - but since matt has been born,I switched to target brand and was pleasantly surprised! they are super cheap in comparison to huggies (1/2 the price), I have never had them leak (matt is pretty tiny, little thighs), and they aren't as stiff as i thought they would be. granted, they are still not as soft as the name brands, but he doesn't seem to care very much : ) they just changed them and they are really cute now, little blue and green circles all over. --Tammy
i like luvs. they aren't the cheapest but they're cheaper than pampers. ---Michelle
I have used the Members Mark brand diapers from Sam's Club, and thought they were just as nice and absorbent as the Huggies brand, which are about $40 per case. The Members Mark were around $32 for the same # of diapers. ---Abbi Witvoet
I have used both Aldi's brand, and Parent's Choice brand from Wal-Mart. Comparing the two, I prefer the Aldi brand, Tender Choice. They are soft and don't leak, and seem to hold up well. Incidentally, they are the exact same diaper and same manufacturer as the Walgreens generic brand. :) --Elizabeth
Just putting in my two cents worth in....... The best kind of cheap diapers that I use is the Wal-Mart brand "Parent's Choice". I used to use "White Cloud" but someone has informed me of why Wal-Mart is always out of them - They've gone out of business! So, my pick is the Parent's Choice! Sarah Gracie used to leak out of EVERYTHING! Even Luvs and namebrand ones like that.... ---Rachel
I like Walgreens brand, (better than walmart & target brand) and they run sales now and again for buy-one-get-one-free and packs for $5.99. --Utterly Blessed
