I am lucky to be married for 8 years to my high school sweetheart. We had our first child in Nov. 2007 and are expecting #2 in July 2009. My husband and I both work full time for large companies and are hoping to someday own our own business so we don't have to do that anymore.
As a first time mom and never being around anyone who nursed I had a few questions and one thing I thought I would share was what worked for me when my daughter bit me while nursing.  After a couple of times of getting bit I e-mailed Elizabeth, Suzy and Amanda and learned something that I thought I would share with everyone else.   They told me to flick her cheek as she bit me and tell her in a firm voice NO BITING and stop nursing for a few minutes, then try again.  It only took one or two times for her to figure out that she wasn't going to get to nurse if she was biting me.  Since I did this I haven't had anymore issues.
