Wife to Scott, mother to Dillon-8, Cheyenne-6, Gabriel-4, Moriah-2, and Avianna born March 21st. I love being a stay at home mom, and finding ways to save money and make my job easier.
Recently when my 21 month old woke up vomiting, I knew we'd been exposed to the flu. We have a good sized family and I'm very pregnant, so the last thing we needed was to have the flu run thru our whole family. I gave the little one a bath (several times) in warm water and two cups of Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV), and the other kids got 1 tsp. of Apple Cider Vinegar (mixed in a little bit of apple juice) every 3 hours. I took 1 Tbsp. of ACV every 3 hours. I believe that it shortened the baby's flu, and the rest of us stayed heathy. We kept it up for three days to be safe.

The ACV is also okay mixed with a little bit of raw honey, but the kids preferred the apple juice.

I've used garlic and ginger both to stop the flu, but I have never had anything be as effective as this.

I'll have to try this the next time one of us gets sick! Thanks!

I am SO going to have to try this! We always have ACV on hand, but I've never used it to treat flu before...

My toddlers had so much fun with this birthday hunt that I thought I might share it for someone else to enjoy with their little ones.
