Ever since I started trying to cook breakfast for four or more big eaters I began to get frustrated with how LONG it'd take me to cook a good breakfast for my family... UNTIL I got an electric griddle!
I used to get ready to make pancakes and bacon and have 2-4 pans out trying to get all the bacon cooked and all the pancakes cooked as soon as possible so that we could eat together. As you can imagine it was messy, confusing and tricky to keep all the pans at the same temperature so everything cooked evenly!
Now that I have the griddle I can cook all the bacon on the griddle and then cook all the pancakes on the griddle (or eggs, or french toast, or grilled cheese if its lunch, etc.) I absolutely love it. I use it almost every morning and its simple, fast, easy to clean and enables me to spend more time eating WITH my family instead of wolfing down bites while trying to cook. :)
*Note - I added a link to a griddle but I'm pretty sure you can get one cheaper at Kohls with a coupon or at a garage sale. :) Either way it'll be well worth it!
Hope this is helpful!
