White Chocolate Cherry Cookies
Yesterday afternoon I spent a great deal of my time baking. Shannon and Eli are going camping this weekend with the Scouts. So I need to send them well equipped... sleeping bag, tent, warm clothes - and cookies. :)
Yes, in the picture above I am wearing a Christmas apron and I was listening to Christmas music at the time. I couldn't help myself, all the baking put me in the mood and the apron is my FAVORITE, made by a special friend! :)
I made a White Chocolate Cherry cookie...
White Chocolate Cherry Cookies
1 cup soft butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 T. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 T. milk
1 cup chopped macadamia nuts (didn't use these)
1/2 cup candied cherries
1 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Cream together the butter and sugars.
Add eggs, vanilla and milk.
In separate bowl mix together the flour, salt, b. soda & b. powder.
Add the dry to the wet and mix until combined.
Add nuts, cherries and white chocolate.
bake at 375* for 11-13 min.
Enjoy!
