Before I share my experience potty training my daughter, let me start off by saying that I was The MOST prepared Mama EVER! (So I thought.) I mean no one was more prepared for potty training than me. For about two weeks, I viewed videos, talked to other moms, got books and videos out of the Library for my baby and me. I even cleared my schedule for four days to solely focus on potty training. I was READY! In fact, it was an article I read on this very website written by Sapphire921 that inspired me to even consider potty training at 18 months. Thanks Sapphire! I was not only ready, but I was excited about the notion of giving up diapers, saving money, and seeing how my daughter Autumn would succeed in this area. I set a date, and the more I read, the more excited I got about it. However, my excitement quickly came to a screeching halt about two hours into training when I said to myself, “Hmmm those diapers really are not all that bad are they?…”
